Prior permission exemptions

• March 2012  Six month pilot to dis-apply Rule 2.3.12(d)(v) of the PhonepayPlus Code of Practice to allow charitable donations using a monthly subscription mechanic.
• January 2011:  Application by Cymba Integrated Solutions Ltd for exemption for a trial period of six months, varying the subscription mechanic by incorporating the use of a ‘SKIP’ function
• November 2009: Application by Mobile Interactive Group (‘MIG’) for exemption of a directory enquiry ‘DQ’ service operating on shortcode 68100
