Registration Scheme information

If you’re a network operator, premium rate service provider (including charities), you need to register with us.

How to register

You’ll need:

• if applicable, a Company House number or Charity Commission number
• the responsible person’s (e.g. director, trustee) name, date of birth and email address
• details of who PhonepayPlus should contact

The annual registration fee is £100 (+VAT).

If you’re a provider of only 0871/2/3 numbers, you currently don’t have to register, but you must still comply with our Code of Practice.

Registration fee exemptions

You don’t have to pay the registration fee if:

• you’re a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales or the equivalent in Northern Ireland or Scotland; or
• your revenue is less than £5,000 per year

Pre-registered companies

If your network operator has pre-registered your company, you’ll get an email with your unique organisation number. Follow the link below to verify your registration.
