Forum feedback signals positive collaboration

At this event, PhonepayPlus asked its Forum attendees to fill in a feedback form asking them to comment on their experience of this particular session, as well as to contribute ideas for future events.

Approximately 35% of all attendees took the time to fill in the form

Of the respondents, the highest proportion - 29% - came from the broadcasting sector

Of the respondents, 60% thought the Forum location/venue was good and 37% thought it was excellent

Although some of the attendees thought the venue was hard to find, the sound system temperamental and the room too hot, many attendees were still impressed by the River views

Onto the important stuff - the catering facilities! - where 44% of respondents thought the finger buffet luncheon was excellent; 41% thought it was good; and 15% thought it was fair

Although the majority of respondents were impressed by the catering, one respondent craved more vegetarian food - a point noted by the PhonepayPlus events team

In regard to the administrative arrangements and logistics for the day, 63% thought these were good and 26% said they were excellent

Onto the content of the session itself, 54% of respondents thought the standard of PhonepayPlus presentations was good; 26% thought the standard of these was fair; 17% said they were excellent

When asked about the quality of the external speakers, 59% of respondents thought these presentations were good; 18% thought they were fair; and 15% said the external presentations were excellent

The most popular and positively received segment of the Forum was the video feature ‘Children and Phone-paid Services' which was commissioned by PhonepayPlus to explore the youth market

In connection with their overall Forum experience, 56% said that the Forum material had covered largely what they'd hoped for; 24% thought that their expectations were met in part; 15% said that the material met their hopes completely; and only 6% said it was not at all what they expected

Fast Fact: The premium rate industry just wants to be heard!  Many of the Forum respondents admitted they wanted more interaction - Q&As and the chance to respond to issues raised in individual presentations.

On the subject of whether or not they'd take the time to come to a future PhonepayPlus Forum, 97% of respondents said they would attend, while just 3% said they would not attend

In their own words...

"I thought the Forum was the best yet. It may just have been a combination of timing and topic, but I made lots of notes and was ‘leaning forward' the whole time."

"This session was full of information but possibly too much for one Forum - it was a bit too long."

"Video feature was excellent.  Consumer panel discussion was far too long, inaudible and of questionable value."

"Office of Fair Trading speaker most interesting as provided new info; should've been earlier in agenda."
