Regulating to build consumer trust in phone-paid services
PhonepayPlus is the organisation that regulates products or services - such as competitions, TV voting, helplines, adult entertainment, downloads, new alerts or interactive games - that are charged to users' phone bills or pre-pay accounts.

Our role in consultations

Part of our role as an advisory body is to make sure that consumers have all the information you need about phone-paid/ services, and to make sure that the companies offering these services meet the requirements of our Code of Practice.

This often means we consult with the various people and companies that have an interest in these services, before we come to a decision about a complaint. We then post the details of our consultations so they're available to everyone - you can see all the consultations using the links below.
