CONSULTATION ON THE REGULATION OF ANONYMOUS SMS MESSAGING SERVICES
(30 July)
icstis has today issued a consultation document relating to Anonymous SMS texting services. icstis is seeking views on whether it is possible and appropriate to introduce regulatory safeguards to allow these services to operate. Responses should be submitted to Mark Collins (mcollins@icstis.org.uk) by no later than Friday 7 September 2007.

INDUSTRY NOTICE: INTRO MESSAGES USED IN SEXUAL ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES (20 July)
ICSTIS has today issued an Industry Notice as a reminder to all service providers involved in the operation of sexual entertainment services (SES), to ensure that the correct introductory messages are given on call connection. Service providers have until 31 August 2007 to ensure that the introductory messages comply with the contents of this Notice and with the ICSTIS Code of Practice.
