Search adjudications
Below you'll be able to find summaries of the results of our adjudications (formal decisions made by the Board under our Code of Practice) against service providers.
When deciding whether to impose a sanction on a service provider found to be in breach of our Code of Practice, the Board takes in to account factors such as the severity of the breach, the level of harm caused and the prior history of the service provider concerned.
The sanctions we can impose range from getting an assurance from the service provider about their future behaviour and imposing fines to barring access to services and prohibiting certain individuals from operating services for a set period.
Service providers have the right, as set out in the Code, to request a review or an oral hearing in respect of an adjudication. The outcome of any such review or oral hearing will also be published by us on this site, as will the outcome of any hearing held by the Independent Appeals Body.
The numbers and short codes that appear in these summaries were correct at the time we investigated the complaint and came to a decision. They are the only numbers we were aware of when we investigated the service. Also, the informal procedure applies to all numbers on which the service operated.
Some summaries may contain content that causes offence. This material may not be suitable for people under the age of 18.
