ICSTIS PUBLISHES RESEARCH ON KEY TRENDS IN THE COMMUNICATIONS SECTOR (Note: Large file - 1.64MB) (November 2006)
icstis has today, for the first time published a document evaluating key trends in the communications sector relevant to the scope and nature of icstis regulation. The document contains a researched assessment of key developments in the paid-for-content and premium rate environments, paying particular attention to the future of payment mechanisms, platform convergence and consumer protection issues.
The document does not seek to reach fundamental conclusions on the breadth or depth of present or future regulation, but analyses market developments with a view to informing the forthcoming review of the scope of premium rate regulation.
